Savory and Scrumptious

Hello Happy Saturday!!!! So last week I made the most amazing crock pot chicken. Then I lost my cord to camera to upload pics :-(. Well the good news is I found it and I am ready to share the recipe with you all.

So, I purchased a whole chicken from Aldi ( my new go to store), and I cooked the whole chicken in crock pot . Yes I said the whole chicken!!!! We had chicken for many kinds of meals. Nachos, rotisserie chicken with veggies, Chicken Alfredo, etc. Usually I would cook a whole chicken in the oven the way my mom taught me or chop it up and cook the pieces separately. I did not have time to do either. I wanted to cook something I would not have to worry about checking on or basting. Take a look "This is the best chicken ever."~ Clarence Pollard ( hubby)

                                        1. Clean chicken and pat dry with paper towel ( take a look at that price tag)

2. Season with your favorite seasoning salt. Season inside and outside of chicken

3. Line crock pot with aluminum foil.Foil should be long enough to cover chicken

4. I decided to place my veggies in to cook together ( carrots onions potatoes). This is optional

5. Fold foil over and place lid on top
cook for 4.5-5 hours on high

So tender all the bones literally fell out when I went to transfer to platter
